Code of Ethics

The OWSA Board has received a few requests from members to create a Code of Ethics or a Code of Conduct for our membership. The OWSA Terms and Conditions have always served as the acknowledgement of membership and outlined the safety requirements, but they do not spell out how members should conduct themselves.
The OWSA Board has identified various examples of a Code of Ethics and they are broad and varied in scope. A suggestion has been made to add a section to the Terms of Membership indicating members will treat everyone with courtesy, compassion, and respect. Another suggestion is to develop a more detailed, structured Code of Conduct, or develop policies around the topic.
