Ready to Serve? Become OWSA Secretary in 2027.

I have had the pleasure of serving as OWSA Secretary since January 2025. One accomplishment I'm particularly proud of is helping keep our board meetings organized by documenting our discussions and decisions, creating a clear record that helps guide the organization. The most rewarding part of serving has been the friendships I've developed with my fellow board members and participating in our annual Board Retreat, where we collaborate to shape OWSA's future and strengthen our team. If you're considering a leadership role, I encourage you to take the leap. Volunteering on the board is a wonderful way to give back, meet amazing women who share your passion for sailing, and help OWSA continue to empower women through sailing. Serving on the board has given me a deeper appreciation for all the work that happens behind the scenes and has made me feel even more connected to our members and our mission.
