Anyone who joins BOAST will not only learn how to sail, but they will learn what to do when… when the motor stops and you cant restart it… when the equipment fails and you have to improvise, how to dock how to anchor, how to get off the sand when you run aground.. and you will, how to get someone out of the water and what to do when that someone is you!

There have been times when it felt like this year was exceptionally long and would never end. While we have lots of reasons to be glad to see 2020 go, we can also celebrate our collective perseverance and strength. Sailing on Sunday is starting early!! CYC invites all interested skippers and crew to participate in a for fun race series on the Columbia River between the I-5 and I-205 bridges. Update 12/14/2020: The OWSA Board continues to monitor the state health and safety updates and is committed to ensuring we are sailing safely.
