We have exciting news! We have gained new volunteers to help fill the wind in our little program's sails, and we couldn't be happier to welcome them aboard.

  • A big, hearty welcome to Patti Schrock as our News Coordinator. Patti will request, edit, and/or write articles for the News Section of our website and the newsletter. Patti has some ideas to get started in this role, but if you have an article you'd like to see or submit, please contact Patti at news@owsa.net.
  • We can also extend a ginormous welcome to Jennifer Jen, our new Communications Coordinator. Jen helped organize and send out this Month's newsletter and can also help send out mailings upon request. If you need to reach her, you can email her at communications@owsa.net.
  • And finally, another round of applause to Patrice Sanders, who has joined our team as Boat Wrangler. She is helping us maintain contact with our highly appreciated WNS skippers and ensures all boat records are up to date. If you're interested in being involved in one of our community events or have any questions for Pat, she can be reached at boatwrangler@owsa.net

Do you want to join the list of generous and talented women helping OWSA expand and support our community? We have open positions! If you are already a volunteer and haven't logged your hours for March, please take this time to do so. To log your hours, log in to owsa.net, go to the member portal, and log your hours. You can do this once a month to summarize your volunteer activities, or add an entry for each volunteer activity at each event. If you have any questions, please get in touch with Kathi at volunteer@owsa.net.
