OWSA Picnic

Come join us for our annual picnic! 

Although this wont be our traditional potluck picnic, it will surely still be a lot of fun!  Join us at Cathedral Park under the beautiful St. Johns Bridge on July 11, from 5-8 p.m.  Everyone is welcome so please feel free to bring your friends and family.

Cathedral Park is located at 6819 N. Salem Avenue, Portland.  We will be at the lower end of the park towards the water.  Directions: If you are able to park on N. Crawford Street between N. Pittsburg Avenue and the St. Johns Bridge, you will find us down the walking path which is exactly 330 degrees (Cant find the symbol on my computer) NW of the bridge.  Walk the path past Peninsula Iron Works toward the water and you will find us to the right of the big metal sculpture shown in the image.

Please bring your own food and picnic setup (chairs, blankets, etc.) and plan for no food sharing.  Each households picnic set up will be spaced 6 apart.  There will be a sign-in desk for all attendees to check in upon arrival.  While socializing, we ask that all attendees wear a mask. We hope to see all of you there but if you are feeling ill or have been around someone who has been sick, we also ask that please stay home.   Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

It is also an opportunity to give back to others in our community by contributing to the Oregon Food Bank.  There are so many people in need right now.  Please bring boxed or canned goods or a cash donation if it is easier.  Last year we collected 87 pounds of food, so we would definitely like to top that amount this year!
