Movie Night and Fundraiser for Oregon Youth Sailing

SYSCO Skippers, Crews, Friends, and Movie Buffs,

Here's your chance to get together with fellow sailors, family, and all your friends, sailors or not, and watch the story of The Wizard of Zenda, Buddy Melges. Some have called him the Leonardo da Vince of Sailing. He died this May at 93, and If you are unfamiliar with all his medals, trophies, and sailing firsts, see the list below the poster.  

All the local sailing clubs (OCSA, SYSCO, RCYC, VLSC, OWSA, WSC, and others) have partnered with PYC to present the film with proceeds going to the Oregon Youth Sailing Foundation. The club will be open to all and the kitchen and bar will be open. Make a night of it. Here are the particulars:

When: Wednesday July 19

Where: Portland Yacht Club  1241 NE Marine Dr, Portland, OR 97211 

Time: 7:30 doors and lot open at 5:00
