General Membership Meeting

Get Inspired, Make a Difference, Learn Together 

 Join OWSA at our September General Membership meeting at Willamette Sailing Club on Wednesday, September 21st. 

Marie Rogers will share about how she has blazed trails and is creating a more inclusive sailing community. As a board member for US Sailing she is working to expand the organizations reach before the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. Marie has served as a commodore of the Los Angeles Yacht Club and she has been received many awards for helping to advance Sailing for Women and for her leadership. 

The second part of our meeting will have a presentation from Julie Demaree about the cruising program she has organized for the women of OWSA. This program is intended to help OWSA women get their bareboat charter certification and expand opportunities for sailing locally and around the world.
