Boater Education Card Workshop
This will be an in person opportunity this year to learn from our own Mary Schuck. Mary is an OWSA member and a member of the US Coast Auxiliary and this will be a great opportunity to learn to boat safely on the waterways.
Location: Alison Mazon Surveying Classroom at Pier 99
When you register, you will receive a welcome email with detailed directions.
Get your boater education card by joining this Boater Education card. Block your time from 9a-4p, but teaching is typically done around 2p and you will take your exam immediately following the class. You will receive your "Oregon Safe Boaters" card after completing the exam. This card is required for boaters operating a motorized vessel of 10 or more horse power on Oregon waterways. Even if it is not required for the size of your boat, the information is invaluable if you plan to be out on the lakes and rivers in Oregon. The certification costs $20 and is good for life! The class limit is 25.
Mary will hand out instruction at the end of the class on how to apply for and pay your respective states for the Boating Safety Card.
Any available tickets are member only.
