2023-102 Sailing Basics (4 weeks)

For beginning sailors. In this Sailing Basics Course explore sailing terminology, knots, points of sail, weather, tides, boat maneuvering, basic navigation rules and introduction to charts. The Course includes Basic Keelboat textbook by US Sailing and a model sailboat. Upon registration, locations of dock classes will be provided. This course includes 2 optional Saturday Sails on 4/15 and 4/29(1-4pm).
