2021 Cruising Basics

Dreaming of far away paradises? Or some of our local gem sailing destinations? Want to live independently in a wind blown home? OWSA's Cruising Basics will introduce you to chartering, sailboat systems, weather, passage planning, boat handling, navigation (piloting), provisioning, health, safety and emergencies. USSailing Bareboat Cruising textbook included. Depending on interest, this class is offered with the aim of forming a small flotilla to sail Puget Sound area in August 2021.
